Seasoned debaters, exceptional leaders, SMUN ‘19’s secretariat has it all! This year’s team is composed of individuals who are brilliant and meticulous in their work but still are incredibly humble and down to earth. The ‘Fierce Five’ as they are called, will do anything and everything in their power to make sure you enjoy every single day of the conference and in the process, will teach you how to be smooth and suave in your formal attire.
Lakshya Dugar, Secretary General

If you see a goofy guy casually demolishing everyone’s cheese dosas while passionately jamming to Elton John’s music in the corridors, that’s when you’ll know you’ve met none other than the man himself - Lakshya Dugar, Secretary General of SMUN ‘19.
Having a multifaceted persona, Lakshya is an intellectual All-India computer whiz, an adored actor, a Tug of War champion and a prodigious radio jockey. Basically, he’s the ‘Sharma ji ka beta’ of the Scottish family, but is surprisingly modest about it.
When he’s not too busy watching Lagaan for the hundredth time or fangirling over Moira Rajpal and Kishore Kumar, Lakshya can be found crying into his oversized blazer because his ‘terrible GIF-finding-skills have made him a failure’. You can be rest assured that your experience at SMUN ‘19 won’t be associated with boring politics and Shashi Tharoorian vocabulary (trust me, I feel your pain) as long as Lakshya is around. He will be there to ‘cheer up all you beautiful people’, help you trust your own instincts and give you constructive criticism in the sweetest possible ways.
With his witty stand up comedy routines, unwavering confidence and impeccable public speaking, this OG Walter White/ Barney Stinson is always in the limelight. Yes, he’s the one you’ve heard all the wild ‘Motion of Entertainment’ stories about.
And with that, I present to you, the fabulous Lakshya Dugar - a self proclaimed ‘Marwari kul kukumber’ and the most deserving Secretary General by far.

Hardik Khattar, Deputy Secretary General

If honesty is next to Godliness, Mr. Khattar here is already a God. When life gives him lemons, he's the kind of person who'll make chocolate cake out of it and leave everyone wondering how he did it. He will call a spade a spade and cut right through the bull (no, that's not violating the beef ban). His raw and unadulterated intellectual prowess will keep leaving you astonished (Believe me, I speak from experience).
Harvey Specter's razor sharp wit, Francis Underwood's pragmatic and enduring attitude and Michael Corleone's vision and pure genius are traits that are only the tip of the giant iceberg of Hardik's endless qualities. If you want to get on his good side, knowledge of World War 2 politics and Suits references might just help.
Take down notes delegates, this man right here is exactly the kind of delegate you wish you could become. His respect 'isn't demanded, it's earned'. So speak up, speak out and speak with confidence if you want him to listen to you over the sound of how awesome he is.
I'm not going to call him a stalwart or the most resolute person I've ever met because it's common knowledge that he personifies those characteristics. He’s so dignified and pleasant in spite of the fact that can do anything under the goddamn sun and yet, you'll never hear him praising himself.
He's heartfelt, high class and a complete hotshot.

Danish Husain, Charge Dè Comitès

“Compromise where you can, but where you can't, don't.”
These are the immortal words of Peggy Carter that Danish Husain lives by. He's someone who doesn't need any other letters in his alphabet, because he always brings his A-Game and makes sure it's the Plan-A that always works.
Danish is the nicest and most agreeable dude you'll ever meet. He'll listen to everything you have to say with the most patient ear (voice all your rants to this guy and never be sad again). Don't mistake him for being a pushover though, it takes him a split - second to activate Beast Mode the moment his ears hear the sound of 'Motion To Enter Formal Debate'. Having captained the McGregor House and having won numerous competitions for his house, he now takes on the role of the Charge Dè Comitès. Danish embodies all the characteristics of a team player. He wouldn't mind coming to school in a chicken costume and confusing the cluck out of everyone for the sake of his team and that's one of the so many qualities we all respect and love about him. He forms the cumulative of the entire Avengers team. Armed with the wit of Tony Stark, the moral centre of Steve Rogers, and the precision of Hawkeye, he is just as badass as Natasha Romanoff.
Danish is dauntless, dapper and delightfully debonair.

Tanushka Weling, Chargé D' Affaires

As someone who knows your Chargé D' Affaires inside out, I can tell you that you are lucky to have Tanushka Weling as the CDA of SMUN'19. Let me tell you why she is perfect for this position – Tanushka is hard working, diligent, loved by all her teachers and peers. She’s an organised and a capable leader. Besides possessing all the qualities that make her perfect for this position, let me tell you why it’s so easy to be around her and be one of her best friends.
Tanushka is caring, compassionate, quirky, clumsy, weird, understanding and above all else, she’s the funniest person that I know. You can’t be around her and not laugh, it’s just not possible. But don’t ever try to test her patience because believe me, it won’t be pretty.
So if you’re looking for her and can’t find her, just look out for the person sitting in 11B, effortlessly singing and dancing, munching on Kit Kats, using hand gestures while reciting a captivating story, laughing, hugging or annoying a friend and I’m sure you'll locate her without having any trouble

Avirat Purohit, Chargé D' Affaires

Avirat is definitely one of a kind and no one resembles him in any form or manner. His uniqueness and creativity makes people around him wonder ‘what goes on in his mind?’ This quality makes him stand out of the crowd and it has definitely played a huge role in his appointment as the Chargé D' Affaires of SMUN'19.
Due to his leadership and organisational abilities, not only has he been the backbone of SMUN’19, but has also played a vital role in showcasing his finesse in producing music. He has displayed this talent at various school events like the Annual Concert, Dramatics and Nritya.
No one really knows Avirat inside out. Regardless, here are some things you should know about him before walking into SMUN'19:
Avirat is brilliant. He is the founder of Bagmybooks.com, an ‘Amazon for all school products'. Avirat is also super fun to be around and can turn any situation into a fun one. He’s spontaneous, noted for his artistic ability and motivated if he truly believes in something. He’s charming and he always has something up his sleeves so beware of this devious prankster!
